OVERVIEW
Borrego Art Institute wanted a refresh on a take for a billboard that felt energetic, approachable, and rooted in mid-century visual culture. We developed a graphic system inspired by vintage design principles, using bold forms and a playful composition to bring the institute’s presence into the surrounding landscape.
CHALLENGE
To create a visual language that felt nostalgic without becoming dated — capturing the optimism of mid-century design while bringing a fresh, contemporary energy to the Borrego landscape.
WHAT WE DID
We translated the spirit of mid-century design into a contemporary desert expression, creating a billboard system that uses color, shape, and visual rhythm to bring the Art Institute’s presence into the landscape.
